April 25, 2007, Dawson Geophysical Company (the “Company”) issued a press release
announcing that it plans to publicly release its financial results for the quarter ended March 31,
2007, the Company’s second quarter of fiscal 2007, before the market opens on Wednesday, May 2,
2007. In addition, the Company announced that an investors’ conference call to review the second
quarter results will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. Central Time.
