Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On
November 7, 2006, Dawson Geophysical Company (the “Company”) issued a press release
announcing that it plans to publicly release its financial results for its fiscal 2006 year-end and
the quarter ended September 30, 2006, the Company’s fourth quarter of fiscal 2006, before the
market opens on Tuesday, November 14, 2006. In addition, the Company announced that an investors’
conference call to review the fourth quarter results will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at
9:00 a.m. Central Time.
A copy of the press release is furnished as an exhibit to this Current Report. In accordance
with General Instruction B.2 of Form 8-K, the information set forth herein and in the press release
